Sand castles and cupcake

Today we went to a "new" beach (old beach is known as East Coast Beach) at Sentosa. Daddy brought my sandcastle tools and we built sandcastles after lunch.

That's my new swimming costume. :)

After playing with the sand and the sea for about 1.5hrs, we went to wash up and went to Festive Hotel to eat some yummy cupcakes. :)

Time to get things going again

For the last 9months or so, mummy had been lazy in updating my blog. Today Mummy hope to once again get into the blogging stint for me again so that she can be reminded of what has been missing. Here's a few pics of what actually happened in the last 9months or so.

For your information, I am now a 37month old young girl. (3yrs & 1month)

Church camp #2

Its the bi-annual 4D3N church camp. This time round, we're going to Batam Holiday Inn. Also, my grandma came along with us.

I fed the fish, went shopping, swim, and had loads of fun. Grandma bought me an aeroplane float and a ball from the shopping centre. Mummy bought me a tamborine and we met up with uncle J who was working there.

The Gruffalo and Botanic Gardens

Mummy bought us some tickets to catch a play at the Alliance Francaise de Singapour.

Its quite an interesting show. Its about how a mouse outwit some of its prey and ultimately the gruffalo.

After the show, we headed to the Botanic Gardens for lunch and also to walk around. Its my 2nd time there. But I didn't get to walk around or enjoy the place much when I was there the first time cos I was still quite young.

Saw quite a few insects, fish, pigeons, terrapins, and a couple of swans. Too bad we didn't get to feed any of them cos they all seem quite well fed with excess food in the pond. Maybe we'll go there again another time. :)

My 1st cycling experience

Mummy's away for the 1st time. She went to Pulau Ubin to work for 3D2N. I'm left with Daddy. 1st night, I went to grandma's house to stay with daddy and 2nd night I went back home with daddy to sleep. To mummy's surprise, I can sleep without her and I even allowed daddy to feed me milk. :)

On the 2nd day, Daddy brought me to east coast park to cycle.

Kids Kampong

Daddy's away again and this time mummy brought me out together with Aunty HL, Faith Jiejie and Aunty Nita to The Kids Kampong at Pasir Ris. Total cost is $14 that includes 1 hour of fishing, 1 bucket, 1 net, 2 packets of fish/animal food, 1 bottle of mineral water and 1 ice cream.

Total number of fish caught, 8. All caught by mummy. I didn't catch any at all. :( but I had fun scooping the water in the net and trying to catch the fish. Very difficult to catch!!!

After that, we went to Ikea Tampines for our lunch and headed back home.

PlayTime at Esplanade

My 2nd PlayTime at the Esplanade. This time also with Caleb Korkor. But I didn't quite like the show and was abit scared cos the people acting were abit too close to me and also there was this other korkor/didi crying that fueled the fear.

Mummy says it will be after sometime before we go for another PlayTime. :(

Bye Bye Ah Tai

Just left grandma's place and mummy got a call.

Uncle called and told mummy that Ah Tai (my great grandma) passed away at about 8plus at night. Don't have much memories with her but mummy says that when I was younger, I was afraid of her, maybe because of her looks. Cos she's old you see.

Her last known age is 104. Rest in peace Ah Tai.

Break from School

With all that coughing and rashes, Daddy decided to let mummy have a break from bringing me to school. So I am stopping school for 12 weeks. Will be back in school again in July.

As I started coughing again today, Daddy decided to bring me to a Chinese Doctor. However, after waiting for about an hour, the doctor said I was too young to be treated. So the wait was in vain.

At Home with Mummy

Daddy's off to work in another country again. This time I am home alone with Mummy cos the trip is a short trip. Had a short episode of coughing on the night when I came back from my grandparents but was well again after medicine and a night's rest.

Mummy brought me out then to United Square together with Faith Jiejie and Aunty HL. We went to try a kid's restaurant called Petit Bowl. Was not too bad so mummy bought home some frozen capsules for me to eat. Mummy bought me a mini fan too from Toys R Us.

It's Daddy's birthday today. I am feeling better already since the visit to KKH.

So we decided to go have dinner at Hong Kong Street Restaurant at Tampines. Both sets of my grandparents were there and my cousin and my uncles and aunty.

1st KKH visit

So the fever didn't subside and the cough didn't get any better. Since Daddy is back, we headed off to KKH A&E hoping to get something diagnosed out of it.

Not many people there. So just had to wait for a while. The aunty nurse looked at me, hear my heartbeat and asked mummy some questions and said that I had to do a blood test and take a picture of my chest.

Off to pay money ($85 for consultation and registration) and then off to a room to take a picture of the chest. After that off to another room to do blood test. The aunty nurse POKED my finger and squeezed my finger and BLOOD came out and she continued to squeeze for more blood. All throughout that time I was screaming and crying.

Waited for a while more, we went to another room to see the doctor uncle. He listened to my chest and said that I have a viral infection. And the fever, he said will last till most 10days.

Went off to get the medicine (which is much much cheaper) and off we headed to my grandparent's place.

My 2nd Birthday

I turn 2 years old today. Its a Sunday so daddy and mummy brought me to church and thereafter a BBQ party at home.

As today is also the last day of the Lunar New Year, there's still "wah-wah" (yusheng) to eat.

Here's the "wah-wah" made by my grandma. :)

Cake Cutting. I chose the piglet and butterfly cake. :)

Since the cake is a piglet cake, Mummy decided to put together some goodie bags for some of the kor kors and jie jies that came. The bag consists of:
- one piglet/pooh air filled balloon
- one box of crayons
- one pooh bear pencil
- one pooh themed party hat
- one pooh themed party blowout
- one bottle of bubble
- a few pooh themed printout coloring sheets

Letter from Mummy #8

In a wink of an eye, you are now 24months. Its a whole 2years old since you were first put on my arms in the hospital. The hospital you were born in no longer exists as it has changed its name. So what's in your birth certificate is a rare commodity.

The last few months before your turned 2 was such an ordeal. Where you had to take in tons of medicine and see the doctor for n-times. Not sure why this is taking place but I really pray that before your 25th month, you will just be cleared from all the medicine and be back to your normal healthy and wholesome self.

Its always a joy having you around but if you were not that demanding and not that much a cry baby, it would have been better. Maybe I have placed an expectation on you that you cannot reach. Sometimes, I have to constantly remind myself that you are just turning 2 and not 3. Maybe because you are hit your milestones way earlier than your peers or maybe because you are born in the 2nd month of the year. Please help remind mummy that you are just 2 and not 3.

My prayer for you as your turn 2 is that God will continue to bless you and that you will come to know who Jesus is and that you will be my healthy baby once again.

My 2nd Chinese New Year

14th Feb (CNY Day 1)
Daddy and mummy brought me to church and then to grandpa's house for lunch.

After lunch we went off for the normal visitations. The day ended at my other grandpa's house for dinner and we headed back home. :) I had my power nap in the afternoon (1hr) and it lasted me through the day till my normal bedtime.

15th Feb (CNY Day 2)
The day started out late and bad. Mummy decided to feed me lunch before heading out to my granduncle's place. In the end, I cried throughout lunch and didn't eat much. Ended up sleeping on the way for just 45mins, which was abit early for my nap. The entire day, I just had that power nap again. After my granduncle's place, daddy and mummy brought me to one of their friend's place and I played with two other jiejies. They have a slide in their home. I like. After that, we headed to grandpa's for dinner and then came back home.

16th Feb (CNY Day 3)
Today I head to Jurong Bird Park. My first park visit. The pictures says all.

After seeing birds, we went to see dinosaurs, which in mummy's and my opinion, its a total waste of money. I was abit scared so I just covered one of my eye so that I can still see abit with my other eye. :p

After the park, we went to a restaurant at Telok Blangah Safra to have lunch.

Then we came home where grandpa, grandma, taitai, and everyone else including korkor C and uncle and aunty came by. I was excited to show everyone my toys and didn't want them to go home.

After the nap, we headed to uncle's house and i helped myself with Korkor C's toys and had my dinner there. After my dinner, everyone else went to the airport for dinner.

I started coughing. :(

My first theatre show

Mummy brought me to my first theatre show at the Esplanade.

The name of the show is "PLAYtime! Into The Deep Forest Mouse Bakes A Cookie!"

Here's the sypnosis of the show.

"Join us for the third installment of the Into the Deep, Deep Forest series! Mouse is ready to bake a cookie! He has everything he needs— salt, flour, water and eggs.
On the count of three, join Mouse as he goes through the steps to bake a cookie. But be careful now, Mouse can be quite clumsy and forgetful at times… He is going to need all the help he can get to make this the most delicious cookie in the world!"

After the show, mummy got me some cookies to eat. :)

I am 23 Months Old

My new friends

For the entire month, my new friends come in bottle form, sweet tasting, some bitter, syringes, spoons and water.

Yes, I have been on medication and still on medication and I've been to the doctor aunty for the entire month, once a week.

Doctor aunty gave me steroids, paracetamol, antibiotics, cough and flu, antihistamines, powder for the airways, etc.

The whole one month, these were my friends.

A road trip

Mummy and Daddy brought me to the doctor on Saturday (26th) cos my cough is getting quite bad and plus we're supposed to go on a road trip to Desaru on Sunday (27th). Doctor auntie saw me and said that I caught a virus but she said that I was alright to go for the trip. Yeah!

So we went to church on the 27th for service before the trip. However, I was awakened by the cough in the morning and didn't get enough sleep and therefore, I didn't want to eat my food. We set off after service at around 2pm. The drive started. I slept in the car once we started moving and when we reached the Malaysian immigration, I woke up being cranky. I didn't even want to drink my milk.

When we reached I didn't want dinner and just wanted to sleep and was cranky throughout.

On the 28th, I got better after the afternoon nap but still I didn't want to eat nor drink and only wanted to eat what was on mummy's plate. With me being better, Daddy brought me to the pool to walk around. I had fun. :)

However throughout the trip, food nor milk interest me. So I was on a mini diet when I was in Desaru throughout. The only thing that attracted me was hokkien noodles, fish, raisins, bread but all in mouse portions.

And that was how I turned 22months.

My 2nd Christmas eve party and Christmas

The fever and rash is gone. But now I have the dreaded cough. sigh. However that didn't deter me from having fun. :)

Mummy and daddy couldn't spend Christmas with me cos they had to work but the spent the 2nd half of Christmas eve with me. So what did we do.

On Christmas eve, we went to my grandma's house for a Christmas party. Didn't really eat much cos the cough was irritating me. Received quite a few presents. :)

On Christmas day, I was at grandma's place but Daddy and mummy collected ALOT of presents for me from the uncles and aunties in church. THANK YOU.

By the time I reached home, it was abit late and didn't get to open the presents. The cough started to irritate me and I didn't really drink alot of milk. :(

Red Rashes

I'm back from Batam but I am not feeling too good. Got abit of fever and also some weird rash started to appear. Before I go to bed, it got worse and Daddy and mummy had to drive me to the hospital cos i was itching and was making me uncomfortable.

Doctor uncle said that could be some allergy that causes the rash and the fever is due to some virus that I caught somewhere.

Good thing the cost for the consultation could be claimed from the travel insurance that was bought. :)

My first ferry ride

I'm going on my first ferry ride today. Destination, Batam. Mummy got a camp to oversee there so I'm tagging along together with my grandpa, grandma and daddy. I'll be away from today till the 23rd. Don't miss me too much. :)

Today in the middle of class, mummy had to go to the toilet and asked me if I wanted to follow her. I didn't want and stayed in the class all by myself when my other classmates had their mummies/grandma with them.

Mummy told me last night that if I were to be a good girl today, she would bring me go and see Barney like how I saw the carebears. So today, I drank all my milk and ate my lunch obediently. Though there was rain while I was eating, the rain stopped and grandma called and said that she would be able to come and fetch us to United Square to watch the show.

So here's abit of what I saw. Though I couldn't get a seat inside the "square", we stood by the fence and wasn't that bad.

Christmas lights

Mummy decided to bring me see the Christmas lights today. So after she picked me up from grandma's, we went to pick up my other grandma and we headed off to Orchard Road. Bad day bad timing. It was raining the whole day and we took 1hr just to reach Orchard from Marine Parade.

Once there, Mummy and grandma had their dinner first and then it was time to see lights. We only managed to see the huge christmas tree outside ION. The rest, I wasn't really interested when mummy drove down the road.

Napped in the car cos I was too tired from all that activity. But only for about 45mins cos I woke up once we reached home. Mummy was contemplating if we should go for another show and seeing that I wasn't sleeping we headed back to the car park to collect the car again.

Going camping

Letter from Mummy #7

Dearest Baby
In a few months time, you will turn 2. Its just so fast. In fact, you are growing so quickly that sometimes I do wish that you would slow down just a little so that I can enjoy that moment with you. However, at the same time, I wish that you would quickly turn 3 so that you will be out of this stage which you are in that is so very challenging. The terrible twos stage where you just simply throw your tantrums just because you are frustrated and things are not going your way.

Well, I know that this is a phase that you will have to go through and I hope that I will be more patient. However, sometimes you just want to push your limits until it makes me angry and I pray God will help me.

Feeding you is like a chore nowadays cos you tend to get distracted so easily and I'm not sure if the food tastes yucky to you or not but you simply have so much difficulty eating your own food but not our food. I wonder why. They taste better?

Milk feeds are like a sacred thing that only Mummy is able to do and not anyone else especially with the bottle. And you have simply opted to use the small cups in your grandparents' place instead of the milk bottles. And apart from mummy and grandma, no one else seem to be able to have your permission to feed you milk. I wonder why too. Maybe next time when you are older you can tell me ok?

I just pray that with all these going on, you will continue to grow healthy and fine. And that God will bring us through this phase as soon as possible and that I will enjoy seeing you grow.

I am 21 Months Old

Camping on my own

Mummy packed my bag and I will be going to camp at my paternal grandparent's place for the next two days on my own for the 2nd time cos Daddy and Mummy got to attend meetings which start very early in the morning and end not that late at night. It will be a 2D1N camp for me. Infact would be something like a 36hr camp.

I will miss them both.

To Ernie's "House"

Mummy and Daddy decided to bring me to Ernie's House (Compass Point) today to watch Ernie and Elmo and some other monsters. Didn't get to sit in the square where all the kids were cos we were only 15mins before the show started. Didn't really enjoy myself as I was too far away from the stage.

But Daddy managed to bring me downstairs to the side of the stage to have a close look at Elmo and Ernie.

In the end, we only stayed to watch for some 15-20mins and then we were off.

An early present

My first Christmas Tree

Mummy decided to put up the christmas tree this year. It is my first time seeing a Christmas tree at home. Last year, mummy didn't put up cos she was afraid I might just tear the whole tree down. But she has more confidence in me this year (we'll see!! hee)

My hair was getting "wild". Instead of getting daddy to cut (he can only do fringe), we headed to a professional hairdresser to do my hair. I didn't cry at all although there was some initial objection to a towel being stuck on my neck :)

The library

Mummy brought me to the library for the first time today. Tampines Regional Library. She booked me a session in one of the special rooms for something called "Fun With Tots".

We walked around the library first cos it was still early. There was a train in the children's section and that became an icon of the library for me. :)

During the session, there were many other toddlers like me, some younger, some older and there was a "teacher" there to guided us in some songs and also read some books. It was fun. :) I think mummy will bring me there again.

Today I did my first business (the poo poo) in my potty today. :) I gave that face, one small one appeared on the diaper and daddy put me on the potty and I completed the rest there. Mummy and daddy's proud.

Moon cake festival.

Presenting, my lantern for this year.

This is my 2nd mooncake festival and I seem to be enjoying myself more than last year. I am not sick that's why!!! This year, when I reached back to grandma's house, the party has already started. And I found out that I had actually more than one lantern. :)

There isn't class today for me cos its the term break. So mummy decided to bring me out again, this time with Aunty HL and Jiejie F. We went to GoGo Bambini at Dempsey Road. Another jungle gym. Tons of exercise for me (and mummy) this week. The entry fee is $5 for unlimited play.

This place is big but mummy said that there were alot of kids around on a weekday and its not the most ideal place to be at. We had lunch there and after that we headed home.

After dinner, Mummy brought me to Tampines 1 to meet two of her friends, Aunty J and Aunty C. They had dinner at a japanese hawker restaurant and I just had some rice off mummy's plate. Its been a long day.

East Coast Park

Mummy brought me to the east coast park today. She said that there is a new playground there. So grandma took "unoffical" half day (its grandpa's business so she can do that) leave to accompany us there. Mummy said that because she couldn't celebrate children's day with me tomorrow because she is working, so she brought me out today to play. :) I wish everyday is children's day.

The entry fee is $8 for unlimited play.

The place we went to is Polliwogs. Its almost the same as where I went the other time, Figdets, but smaller scale and not too many scary slides. This time, instead of just playing with the balls in the toddler area, I climbed up the jungle gym and started moving around and having more fun. Cos I know how to slide already. But when it comes to big slides, mummy will still slide down with me cos the slides were really fast.

After "exercising" mummy and grandma went to a Japanese restaurant, Waraku, that is just next to the playground to have their lunch and I had my dessert, chawamushi. :)

Last day of term and my project

Today is the last day of school for this term and Mummy has signed me up for the new term which is start two weeks later. So means I get one week holiday.

Its my great grandmother's (mummy's mummy's mummy)birthday today. She is one very old lady who is 100+ (not sure how many but should be less than 110). Old right? I used to be quite afraid of her but now I am not. :)

My first overnight stay

I had my first overnight stay at grandpa's all on my own. Daddy and mummy decided to go Batam for one night and thus, I am left at my grandparent's. It was fun.

Mummy packed me my jammies, my toothbrush and my old faithful piglet and off I went to grandpa's.

Here's what I did. Not finishing my milk, not sleeping early (I slept at 12am), brush my teeth on my own, play with grandpa etc. And mummy thought I would be crying through my night but mummy was wrong. :)

Not sure if there will be another time but it was an experience.

Classes coming to an end

In school today, its my 3rd last class by the way, Mummy got a letter from the teacher about some reminder to pay if I want to continue for another term of class. For the next term there will only be 1o lessons due to the holidays that fall on Fridays and also the term break.

In the evening, Daddy and mummy talked about it and they are still thinking. School is fun. I hope I can continue cos Daddy asked me.

Daddy: Baby you like to go school?
Me: *Nod head* *Smile*
Daddy: Go to school to do what?
Me: Go school stardee ahh. *smile*

P.S. Grandma is back today. I enjoyed my week with Daddy and mummy. :)

My first whole rice meal

Mummy cooked beef stew today and she decided that I'll eat what daddy and mummy eat. Rice with stew.

Not too bad for a start. At least I didn't get choke or gag or had adverse reaction to rice in grain form instead of porridge form. :) Time to eat more adult food maybe?

Netanya see Baby Isaac

This morning, after I woke up, Daddy said we were going to see baby Isaac and we did. Together with Aunty HL and Faith jiejie, we went to see Aunty S and Baby Isaac. So cute.

That's all I did on Day 3 of the week.

To Suntec City

Instead of going to grandma's house today, Mummy brought me to Suntec City to walk around as Mummy also had a lunch appointment with Aunty L and Rachel Jiejie. Suntec City is a nice place with nice toys and nice kiddy rides. :)

After lunch, Aunty L brought me to Toys R Us and she got me a vegetable set which I can chop. I like. Thank you Aunty L. :)

Then it was Mummy's turn to do some grocery shopping. With the help of Rachel Jiejie, Mummy allowed me to run around. Actually she didn't want me to sleep while sitting on the stroller that's why she let me. We went to Carrefour and bought stuff from there. Its a big supermarket like Giant. I like.

Then it was time to head home after half a day of running around.

By the way, this entire week will be spent with Mummy and Daddy as grandma is off to Shanghai for holiday.

Mummy bought me a new "toy". Not something that I can play with but something that I can use. Fingerpaints.

Mummy bought one drawing block and here's the results. I was quite apprehensive in the beginning using only one finger, but soon, the entire hand got into action and then two hands. Here are my art pieces.

The final injection

Toady mummy brought me to take my final injection until I turn 7yrs old. The aunty nurse measured me and weighed me and the doctor aunty checked me. All ok.

So now, I weigh 9.5kg and stand at 82cm. My weight is still slightly below the 50th percentile but my height is in the 75th percentile. :)

of falls, knocks and bruises

This week is a week of tumbles and crying and knocks and blood and pain pain.

It all started on the 24th Aug. I slipped on a small puddle of water and fell, knocking the back of my head. Mummy tried to wash my backside and the shower head went crazy and sprayed water outside of the toilet without mummy noticing. After the bath, I followed mummy to take a plastic bag and on the way back to my room that's when the accident happened.

This is on the 26th Aug. Daddy and Mummy brought me to AMK NTUC. On the way back walking from the carpark after the rain, mummy was carrying me and mummy slipped on the slippery drain cover and fell with me in her arms. Got a scrape on my left elbow and a tiny cut on the upper lip , mummy got a scrape on the right elbow and a bruise on the left knee. Cried like no tomorrow. Seeing blood for the first time coming out of my skin.

This is on the 30th Aug. Was at grandma's place and was carrying Caleb Korkor's drum while walking. Tripped and knocked my forehead on the TV console cupboard.

Letter from mummy

Dearest Netanya
You turn 18 months today and you are getting cuter and wittier as the days go by. Although sometimes you still make me angry and still has your ways with your drinking and eating, I still thank God for growing you and making my worries about your growth become in vain.

With your ability to communicate now, life is much simpler and its quite fun sometimes trying to decipher what you are trying to say. Your intelligence just makes me wonder what is going through your mind sometimes. Your cheekiness leaves me in a dilema if I should be angry at you or laugh at you.

I believe there are still lots more to learn about you and from you and I am looking forward to more days spent with you. :)

May God fill you with joy and love so that you can continue to share them with us. :)

I turn 1.5years old today (18 months).

Here's some things I can/like to do:
- talk in a language that no one understands sometimes
- Tell myself jokes in my own language and laugh to myself
- count from 1 to 10 missing out #6
- sing twinkle twinkle little star (guided and some unclear words)
- help mummy sing Hey Diddle Diddle by contributing sound effects
- READ books
- Ask mummy/daddy to read
- listen to the song Round Round (the wheels on the bus)
- Tell mummy/daddy that I poo poo after I have done it

A day at Fidgets

Today I woke up exceptionally early (I'm always early at grandma's) at 715am. I thought the outing would be cancelled cos I might need a nap. Who knows, we went ahead and I had my ~~cat~~ power nap in the car on the way there. (All because mummy took the wrong exit out of the expressway so I had more time to sleep. haha)

The place, Turf City, Fidgets. Its a huge place with a huge jungle gym but I'm being my usual self, being faithful to just the balls and car. Here's a sneak at the cars that I rode on. Aunty HL got more pictures. ~~Will upload them when she sends to mummy.~~ uploaded.

Gone Camping

of red dots and itch

On Thursday, Daddy spotted some dots on my legs and hands. Thinking that it might be just heat rash or sunburnt (due to the zoo) or allergic reaction to something. On Friday, they got worse. Daddy suggested we go see the doctor in the morning but there were just too many people in the clinic so it was decided that we go back in the evening.

Doctor aunty said it was either an allergy to something but definitely not something I ate cos I didn't eat any new food. Or maybe its a viral rash. I showed off my talking skills to the doctor aunty and she said that I was intelligent for my age. :) She gave me a botle of medicine and told mummy that if it didn't subside by Tuesday, I should be back seeing her again.

There goes the money out of the pocket.

Let's go to the zoo, zoo, zoo.....

The pictures says it all. My favourite to date are monkeys and big big monkeys (aka orang utan) and giraffe and goat and horse and penguins.

We made it there in time for the "Safari Fight Back" show and right after that show we went to watch the water animal show (I forgot the name). I enjoyed the first show better.

We walked around to see some monkeys.

While watching, we heard some noise and went to the elephant exhibit to see the elephant show. No interest to me. :p

We headed to the children zoo instead. On our way there, we met the renowned Ah Meng.

Finding our bearings, we foudn the chimpanzees and spent some time there.

Next stop, lunch, and children zoo.

we saw some goats, horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, ponies. I'm a pony whisperer if you do not know.

Here's what we did and saw at the kidszone.

After that we went to see more monkeys and other animals. Money with a colorful face and backside, monkey with a big nose, reptiles, tortoise, bear, etc.

Then we went to see the big big monkey in a glass house and the feeding of these monkeys. The big big monkey in the glass house is BIG and it looks really old.

After that we proceeded to see other animals.

On the way out, I slept and it started to rain and we went home. So much for the zoo. There are still some other animals I haven't see. I think we will go back there again.

Daddy and Mummy brought me to this place where is like HUGE. Not that it's my first time there but the first time whereby I could walk around on my own. The place is none other than IKEA @ Tampines. If only my home was that big. Overheard daddy telling mummy like as if I was in Science Centre trying out all stuff.

The best thing that I could do there was chasing a logo on the floor. :)

Sick

It all started on the 21st Jul with sneezes and sneezes. Then in the middle of the night, the fever came at 39 degrees. And on 22nd Jul, the nose started dripping and the medicine started. The nose stopped dripping on 24th Jul and Daddy and Mummy thought all was well.

Then on the 26th Jul, halfway through my sleep, I was awaken by cough and started to vomit out tons of phlegm. And here I am now, all sick and tired but still running around like as if I am not sick. Mummy decided to bring me to the doctor Aunty and funny thing about this is my nose is only dripping on one side of the nose.

I'll be better soon.

I'm going to school!!!

Today I officially start school. :) Daddy and Mummy signed me up to Little Neuro Tree and there will be a total of 10 lessons cos the class was confirmed two weeks after the term started. My classmate is a 10month old boy and its just the two of us in the class. Oh and the class is in Tampines which means, every Friday, I will go to my grandma's house.

Today's lesson was quite fun. Learning Chinese and playing basketball. I'm sure I'll have a great time in the next few weeks. :)

The teacher gave me a present today!! For being in the class for the first time and also a file and also a booklet with all the songs inside and a page to stick all the stickers that I will collect after every class.

My 1st Car Wash

It started off quite fun but being cautious, I better hold on to mummy's arm.

lack of posts

Sorry for the lack of posts in June. Mummy was kind of busy and I was having late night flings in church. cos Mummy had to hang around for musical rehearsals. ;p

In case you haven't heard, I'm on a milk strike again. I sip my milk for an hour each time when its time to drink. However if I'm in the car, things get done faster. :p

Since daddy is not around, mummy decided to bring me to the jungle gym again at Kallang. I remember the name this time. Its called "Peekaboo". However I was not alone. Went there together with Aunty HL and Faith Jiejie.

When Porpor returned home, I found a new toy waiting for me. :) It sings/toots depending on the mode I choose. :)

Today is day 9 since my injection. And I thought I would be clear from the fever. Mummy measured me just as I woke up and the temperature hit 39.1 degrees. Just as we were getting ready to go for Uncle D and Aunty A's wedding dinner.

That's me and Faith jiejie on stage with me at the restaurant. :p

Had my paracetamol and mummy packed dinner to the restaurant for me to eat but I didn't have appetite so I skipped my dinner.

Mummy brought me to the docotor aunty again. This time to get my injection, MMR, which the doctor aunty say that I might get fever within 10 days of the injection. God please help me not get any fever.

After getting injected, mummy brought me to Faith Jiejie's house to play. So fun. So many toys. :p

Dear Netanya
Time seem to have just whizzed by like that when I see you grow. Now that you are wanting to be more independent and know how to negotiate with us, it seems like you are such a big girl already. Although at times, you still may not know what you say or indicate exactly, but I'm sure God is still giving you the wisdom and knowledge of what is going on around you.

Sometimes, you still are stubborn and still want things your way though it may not be the best. Although you make mummy and daddy frustrated sometimes with your not wanting to finish your milk and food, its always a challenge. Those times when you are scolded, those times when you were being spanked, it hurts my heart as I did those things. Help mummy to be more patient ok?

At 15 months, may God continue to grow you and give you wisdom and protect you from all kinds of diseases and illnesses. Stay happy and joyful always. :)

Jungle Gym

Daddy and mummy decided to bring me to this place in Kallang Leisure Park (not a park with grass and flowers but a mall. hee) where there's a jungle gym. It's a branch from Go Go Bambini. Forgot what it is called. But I only need to pay $8 and I get unlimited hours of play there. Daddy and mummy goes in for free. Here's some stuff I did at the place. :)
